On day 4, I was provided with a task of editing the MHFA's webinar videos as part of their free webinars that they host online called "Lunch & Learn". I was tasked to edit 4 of the webinars to get it ready for distribution on YouTube. All I needed to do was trim the beginning of the recording where they are setting up the presentation, as well as the QnA section of the recording as they only want the webinar presentation content for people to look back to on YouTube.

Another element I needed to add to the video was the MHFA's logo animation for the outro. This would be at the end of the presentation and wrap up the video. I usually use the crossfade transition to blend the clips together nicely to make it run smoothly.
After I have finished editing the webinars and gotten them ready for distribution, I went on Canva to create thumbnails respectively of the webinars to have it ready for uploading to their YouTube platform.

Example of webinar video uploaded to MHFA's YouTube platform:
Another task I was given to complete today is to edit a podcast episode that the MHFA is having called "Empowering Voices of Harmony" that they do weekly and distributed onto their social media platforms. It is usually hosted by one of the members of MHFA and they would have a guest to come in and talk about mental health. The episode I am editing features host, Priya Saika, and guest, Yasir Ali Baloch who talks about his journey and life here being an international student in Australia.
I was provided with the raw files such as the podcast recording and audio recording. The podcast itself is already edited so the things I needed to do was include the introduction, acknowledgement, disclaimers, information, animated intro and outro, name banners of the host and guest, as well as ending credits. I also had to include the music for the intro.

With the provided materials such as animated intro, disclaimer screens, etc... I edited them into the beginning of the video with background music that was provided. Another thing I did was added name banners of the host and guest that appear in the video when they show up on screen.

I did that using Premiere Pro's tools that is available in the Essential Graphics window called Lower Third. By adding that, I can also customise the banner by changing font, colour, size, and animation. Another element I had to do was add an ending outro animation as well as a credits video listing the people involved in the production of the video. I did that using Canva as they had a template ready for this credits video. I just had to change the image and names of the people to get it ready to add into the video.
I also created the thumbnails for YouTube and Spotify as those are where they will distribute the podcast content. I did that using Canva with the template that was provided to me by using screenshots of the host and guest and editing them to stylise it for the thumbnails.

With that being finished, I rendered the video and showed it to my supervisor Nithya, as well as showing it to Vasan, the CEO, and Matthew, the director of the podcast to get their approval.
