On my last day at the MHFA, one important project I had to finish up is the Small Business mental health conference promotional video. Today, my teammate Kaz is not here so I went out myself to Kebabsta to get the footage that I wanted for the video. I approached them and asked if I could get a few shots of them working in the kitchen as well as b-roll content.
As I've already gotten content of the interviews and other shots from another small business which is Fuumi Fuumi bakery, this was the last content I needed to finish editing the video.
With all the footage ready, I've finalised the editing of the video and added the extra content that I filmed into the video. I added subtitles, as well as some statistics showing how many percentage of Australians in small businesses got impacted by their mental health. Lastly, for the ending of the video, I've made a simplified poster of the event conference on Canva and included the necessary information for the viewers.

After finishing the video, I've showed it to Nithya and she really liked how it turned out especially considering the number of delays and issues we had while producing this video. I also showed it to Aura, who is the event organiser and she also found it really good which I'm proud of.
Other tasks for the day includes editing episode 11 of the Empowering Voices of Harmony podcast and editing short form videos for Lucy Laurita's episodes. Episode 11 is of Abbas Abbaspoor and I was provided with the raw podcast footage. Following the same format as I have edited numerous episodes prior, it was an easy task as all I needed to do was add the intro, outro, and lower thirds introducing the host and guest. After finishing with the edit, I once again tagged Nithya and Matt to review the episode to get it approved for distribution.

The last task for the day is to create 2 short form videos for Lucy Laurita's episode. The short form videos should be in vertical format as well as square format for Instagram and Facebook. By changing the sequence settings, I was able to format the video to different resolution sizes and edit the videos from there. I've picked key moments from the interview and shorten it down to 1-2 minutes, adding subtitles, and the outro animation. As these are for social media, it should catch viewers' attention and engage with them.

I ended the day off and wrapped up my time at MHFA as this is my last day. It was an enjoyable experience working here and I've definitely learned a lot throughout collaboration and working on various types of projects in my field of interest.
