On Day 10 at MHFA, I was informed by my supervisor, Nithya, to work from home today, therefore, all communications were done online through Teams and she assigned tasks to me for today. One of the task was to edit a webinar recording in order to get it ready to be distributed on their YouTube platform. I had done this before, so the task was fairly simple which requires me to edit out the QnA section from the recording, and add an intro and outro animation to the video. After I was done, I went on Canva to create a quick thumbnail and uploaded it to YouTube.

The next task I was assigned to work on is to re-edit episode 5 of Empowering Voices of Harmony podcast (Om's Journey) since the director of the podcast, Matt, had given feedback and requested me to fix the title card of the guest to change information. I took his feedback and made the change and since this episode was edited by another colleague, I could not get the editing file from them, therefore, I had to re-edit the podcast entirely and made the changes from there. After the changes were made, I showed Matt and Nithya the final edit and they approved it for distribution. I then prepared the podcast to be uploaded to YouTube by creating the thumbnails and scheduling the video, as well as adding the description that was provided to me. I've also scheduled it on Spotify which is something I've never done before so I learned something new today. It was a simple format and I've added the same description and scheduling date, as well as the audio file.

The next task I was assigned to do today is to edit a promotional Instagram reel to promote the Multicultural Mental Health Month for their social media. Nithya specified that the video should contain subtitles and text, as well as graphic visuals to show some of the events/topics that were discussed in the video. I was provided with the raw footage of the recording and I had to edit out any bloopers or unwanted clips.

I've used the transcript tool in Premiere Pro and created closed captions for the video to make it more engaging for viewers. I've added graphics of the multicultural mental health events throughout the video along with some animation to keep the viewers engaged. Then, I ended the video off with the puzzle animation and provided the dates of the events to inform viewers. After that, I sent the finished video to Nithya and ended the day off.
