The first day of my internship at the Mental Health Foundation Australia was very informative and laid back. My supervisor, Nithya, first gave me an induction to the MHFA through a slideshow that was detailed and descriptive. I got to see what previous projects they had worked on, what things for me to expect as I start my internship here, as well as what sort of tasks I will be doing.

I then get to meet with people and introduced myself to them which will be the people I'll be working with. I got to meet the assistant supervisors Finn and Kaz who helped me setup my Teams account which will be where we communicate and organise all the tasks. They also informed me about what sort of tools or software they use to create content, and how to use them. I got myself familiarised with everything as well as the facilities and working spaces. Nithya gave me a questionnaire to complete which are questions relating to what I think of their social media pages and if I have any suggestions for their pages.

I spent time going through each of their social media pages including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn. After each one, I've written in the response on what I thought about it in terms of design, viewer's attention, and attractiveness. From what I saw, MHFA's social media pages are all up to date with whatever program they have and their brand identity is very evident throughout all their posts and designs.

Throughout the day, I looked at MHFA's previous projects and programs and get myself familiarised with the organisation. It's eye-opening and amazing to see the different kinds of projects they completed, services they provide, and how many people they have impacted throughout the 93 years of service.
